Approval-gated sourcing workflow

How It Works

Meridian Sources is a validation-stage sourcing desk that helps find hard-to-source industrial parts through local and global supplier channels. The model is a buyer-paid sourcing fee, and the buyer approves that fee before any supplier is revealed. The process organizes the work, and every outbound action is reviewed and approved before it is sent manually.

How the sourcing fee works, when supplier details are shared, and what stays your responsibility.

How Meridian Sources protects sourcing work
Finding and qualifying a source for a hard-to-source part is real work. You approve the buyer-facing amount before the source is revealed, which keeps the process fair and protects that work.
When supplier details are shared
We share an identity-withheld summary first — part, condition, lead time, and responsibilities. The supplier's details are shared after you approve the buyer-facing amount in writing.
What the sourcing fee covers
Source discovery, organizing your request, coordinating quotes, capturing condition and lead time, preparing documentation, and managing a controlled reveal. You purchase directly from the seller of record.
Buyer responsibilities
You confirm technical compatibility, specifications, application, and final suitability. Meridian Sources does not guarantee compatibility or fitment.
Exact part sourcing first
We source the exact part you ask for first. If an exact match isn't available, any substitute is offered as a clearly labeled option for you to confirm — never as an automatic equivalent.
No unsupported guarantees
Availability, condition, pricing, warranty, and returns are seller-provided and subject to confirmation. We share what the seller reports and avoid claims we can't support with evidence.
